Zetalabor Condensation Silicone
Designed specifically for the dental laboratory, Zetalabor condensation silicone offers high hardness and excellent mechanical properties. It is a polysiloxane material that must be mixed with Indurent LAB catalyst, providing superior final hardness (80 Shore A), remarkable dimensional stability, precise detail reproduction, and strong resistance to deformation.
This material is suitable for applications requiring short working times and moderate temperatures. For over 35 years, its ease of use has streamlined laboratory procedures and enhanced the daily performance of lab technicians.
Indurent Gel serves as the gel catalyst in this range. Its characteristic red color ensures easy visual recognition of a homogeneous mixture. Simple to measure, it is compatible with all Zhermack condensation silicones.
Indications• Counter-moulds in removable prosthesis applications
• Masks for creating artificial gums using the indirect technique
• Moulds for preparation of self-curing resins
Advantages• Maximum precision in detail reproduction
• High tear strength
• Excellent elastic recovery
• High dimensional stability
• Time-saving properties
• Outstanding quality/price ratio
• Compatible with both hot and cold resin techniques
1. Prepare the laboratory model, flask or mould area and ensure surfaces are clean and dry.
2. Measure the Zetalabor base and compatible catalyst in the ratio specified by the current Zhermack instructions.
3. Mix thoroughly until colour and consistency are uniform without streaks.
4. Adapt the silicone over the required model, prosthesis or counter-mould area while avoiding trapped air.
5. Allow the material to polymerise fully without disturbing the work.
6. Remove the cured silicone carefully and inspect the reproduced detail.
7. Trim if required and use the mould or index in the planned laboratory resin or prosthetic procedure.
