Zhermack Neocolloid Alginate Impression Powder – 500g (C302205)

Neocolloid by Zhermack is a high-precision alginate impression material designed for creating accurate dental impressions. This dust-free alginate features a normal setting time and offers fast water absorption, making the mixing process smooth and effortless. The final mixture forms a homogeneous mass with smooth, compact surfaces, ensuring high-quality impressions.

The impressions produced with Neocolloid can be stored for extended periods before casting. Its high-flow, injectable consistency allows for precise application, while simple and quick mixing properties save time during dental procedures. Neocolloid also exhibits excellent thixotropic behavior, improving handling and accuracy.

Patient comfort is enhanced by its gentle herbal flavor, making the impression process more pleasant. Its high precision and extended working time of approximately 2 minutes provide dentists specializing in removable prostheses with greater control and confidence during procedures.

• 1 x Neocolloid Alginate Powder - 500g

• Open the bag and transfer the alginate into a hermetically sealed container. Keep the product batch number and expiration date by cutting them from the bag.
• Shake the container 2–3 times to evenly disperse the powder.
• Powder dosing: Using a dosing spoon, scoop the alginate without compressing it. Level off excess powder by running the flat side of a spatula across the spoon, then pour the powder into a rubber mixing bowl.
• Water dosing: For each level scoop of powder, add 1/3 of a measuring cup of water. To measure accurately, hold the cup at eye level and ensure the lower part of the meniscus is tangent to the cup’s marking.
• Pour the measured water into the powder.
• Begin mixing by pressing the material against the sides of the mixing bowl with a stiff spatula.
• Follow the manufacturer’s recommended mixing time. Mixing is complete once a smooth, even consistency is achieved.
