Zhermack Elite Rock (C410010) is a Type IV extra-hard dental die stone designed for producing highly accurate master models in fixed prosthodontics. Its silver-grey shade is optimized for laser and optical scanner detection, making it particularly effective for CAD/CAM workflows.

The material provides outstanding compressive strength, resulting in reduced abrasion and improved precision during model fabrication. Its balanced thixotropy ensures smooth, simplified mixing and supports consistent, reliable model production.

Elite Rock also features very low setting expansion, maintaining dimensional stability for up to 48 hours—an essential factor for ensuring the accuracy of final prostheses. 1. Use a clean, dry mixing bowl and verify the powder and liquid are within their labelled shelf life.
2. Measure water and Elite Rock powder using the ratio specified in the current Zhermack instructions for use.
3. Add powder to water and mix until a smooth, homogeneous stone mix is obtained, using vacuum mixing where indicated.
4. Introduce the stone into the cleaned impression in small increments while using gentle vibration to reduce trapped air.
5. Complete the pour without over-vibrating the material and allow the cast to set undisturbed for the stated time.
6. Separate the model from the impression only after adequate hardening.
7. Trim and finish the cast as required and allow it to reach sufficient strength before laboratory processing.
