VOCO Ionoseal is a ready-to-use, light-curing glass ionomer composite lining material engineered for high efficiency and dependable pulp protection. By integrating glass ionomer chemistry with light-curing resin technology, it delivers impressive mechanical stability alongside long-term fluoride release. The material bonds chemically to tooth structure, forming a reliable seal that helps prevent marginal microleakage and secondary decay.

The flowable consistency allows precise placement directly into cavity floors without the tedious process of hand-mixing. With high compressive strength exceeding 210 MPa, it serves as an excellent stress-bearing base or liner under all types of restorative materials, including direct composites, amalgams, and indirect restorations. Its high radiopacity ensures effortless identification on diagnostic X-rays.

This specific refill configuration includes one 2.5 g syringe along with suitable dispensing tips. It provides a convenient solution for practices requiring high-performance lining material with rapid light-curing convenience.

1. Clean and thoroughly dry the prepared cavity surface prior to material application.
2. Ensure adequate pulp protection using a suitable calcium hydroxide liner in very deep cavity preparations.
3. Attach the direct-application tip securely to the VOCO Ionoseal syringe.
4. Express the material directly onto the cavity floor, maintaining a layer thickness of no more than 1 mm.
5. Light-cure the applied liner layer for a minimum of 20 seconds using a standard dental curing light.
6. Continue with the placement of the chosen restorative material according to standard clinical protocol.
