• Contains real calcium hydroxide and hydroxyapatite to support dentin structure preservation.
• Light-curing capability provides rapid command setting and immediate procedural progress.
• Delivers robust protection against chemical, thermal, and acid-etching irritants.
• High compressive strength minimizes risk of fracturing under heavy mechanical occlusal loads.
• Highly radiopaque formula ensures reliable visual identification on postoperative radiographs.
• One-component paste design eliminates hand-mixing errors and saves chairside time.
• Flowable consistency permits accurate, controlled application directly into deep cavities.
VOCO Calcimol LC is a resin-modified, light-cured cavity liner formulated with calcium hydroxide and synthetic hydroxyapatite. It is specially designed to serve as a reliable protective barrier over exposed dentin, guarding the pulp against chemical leaching, acid etching, and thermal conductivity under various restorative materials.
The material offers high physical strength and excellent resistance to masticatory stress, reducing the likelihood of base collapse under dense amalgams or condensable composites. Its direct-apply syringe format allows precise, void-free placement into complex preparation angles.
• Composition: Hydroxyapatite, resin matrix, calcium hydroxide
• Curing Type: Light-cured
• Product Form: Flowable paste in syringes
• Radiopacity: Highly radiopaque
• Depth of Cure: 1–2 mm per layer
• Indications: Indirect pulp capping and lining under all filling materials
• Storage Conditions: Store at 4°C to 23°C
• Shelf Life: 3 years from date of manufacture
1 Pack Contains:
• 2 × Syringes – 2.5 g each
• Accessories
1. Clean, prepare, and dry the cavity following standard endodontic or restorative protocol.
2. Ensure proper isolation using a rubber dam or cotton rolls to prevent moisture contamination.
3. Dispense a thin layer (up to 1 mm thickness) directly into the deepest parts of the prepared cavity.
4. Light-cure the material using a standard dental curing light for 20 seconds.
5. Apply additional layers if deeper coverage is required, light-curing each increment separately.
6. Remove any excess material from cavity margins before placing the final restorative material.
