• Endodontic filling material with antibacterial properties
• Combines the antibacterial action of iodoform with the strength of calcium hydroxide and barium sulfate
• Available in two components:
• Powder (10 mg): iodoform, calcium hydroxide, zinc oxide, barium sulfate
• Liquid: oil of clove, Canada balsam

Indications:

• Permanent root canal sealant
• Treatment of crooked teeth, delta-shaped apical roots, and accessory canals

• Preparation: Thoroughly clean and dry the root canal before applying the material.
• Mixing: Blend the powder components (iodoform, calcium hydroxide, zinc oxide, barium sulfate) with the liquid components (oil of clove and Canada balsam) to form a smooth, uniform paste.
• Application: Use a lentulo spiral or suitable endodontic instrument to fill the root canal with the prepared paste.
• Sealing: Ensure the canal is completely filled with no voids, then proceed with the final restoration.
• Setting Time: Allow sufficient time for the material to set, ensuring a durable and long-lasting antibacterial effect.
