Sure Endo Sure Cord Knitted Retraction Cord (Pack of 1) is a non-impregnated, 100% cotton knitted cord used for mechanical gingival retraction. Its interwoven loops help the cord remain in the sulcus and absorb fluid or a clinician-selected haemostatic agent.

The colour-coded cord is supplied in a dispenser with an integrated cutting blade. Sizes #000 to #3 support different sulcus dimensions and single- or double-cord techniques.

• Isolate the area and select the cord size for the gingival sulcus.
• Cut the required length using the dispenser cutter.
• Apply a compatible haemostatic agent only when appropriate and permitted by the product type.
• Pack the cord gently with a suitable cord-packing instrument, avoiding tissue trauma.
• Allow adequate displacement time according to the clinical technique.
• Remove the cord completely before impression taking, scanning or restoration.
