SureEndo Sure Cord is designed for effective mechanical gingival retraction. It can be easily placed into the gingival sulcus and helps improve the quality of impressions as well as restorative procedures.

Made from 100% cotton, the cord is non-impregnated and features an interwoven knitted structure. These knitted loops allow the cord to absorb an adequate amount of hemostatic agent when required. The knitted design also helps the cord stay securely in the periodontal groove during tooth preparation, while still allowing easy and atraumatic removal.

The container features a stainless-steel trimming blade located inside the cap. When the cap is closed, the cord is automatically cut, and the free end is held securely within the cap to prevent it from falling back into the container.

Color-coded markings make it easy to select the appropriate cord size and also assist in verifying complete removal of the cord from the gingival sulcus after the procedure.

• Select the appropriate size: Choose the Sure Endo Sure Cord size that best fits the gingival sulcus and interproximal space.
• Clean and dry the area: Ensure the site is free of debris and moisture before placing the cord.
• Apply hemostatic solution (optional): If bleeding is present, use a hemostatic agent to control moisture and improve visibility.
• Insert the cord: Using a cord packer or suitable instrument, gently place the cord into the sulcus, taking care to avoid trauma to the gingival tissue.
• Pack the cord firmly: Compress the cord to achieve effective gingival retraction. Additional cord may be used if increased retraction is required.
• Allow retraction time: Leave the cord in place for several minutes to enable adequate tissue displacement while continuing with other procedural steps.
• Remove the cord: Once retraction is achieved, carefully remove the cord using a cord-removal instrument or dental floss.
