Step 1 – Remove Temporary Material

• Thoroughly remove any temporary filling materials.
• Rinse the cavity with water and dry.

Step 2 – Pulp Capping

• For deep cavities, apply calcium hydroxide as a protective pulp-capping agent.

Step 3 – Prepare the Restoration

• Clean the area thoroughly before cementation.

Step 4 – Dispense Cement

• Measure and dispense powder and liquid in a standard ratio of 1.6 g : 1 g.

Step 5 – Mix Cement

• Mix the powder and liquid on a mixing pad using a plastic spatula for 20 seconds.
• Working time: 3 min 30 sec
• Setting time: 7 min

Step 6 – Remove Excess Cement

• When excess cement reaches rubbery elasticity (≈2 min 30 sec – 3 min 30 sec), remove it using an appropriate instrument.
