The Shofu All Ceramic Preparation Kit is specially designed with a premium selection of diamond burs to enable simple, efficient, and precise tooth preparation for full-ceramic restorations, inlays/onlays, and veneers. The kit includes 17 burs chosen specifically for clinical applications, providing accuracy and versatility in a wide range of procedures.
Two burs, 896 and 897, are specially designed to create depth-orientation grooves:
Burs 0836 and 836V are intended for preparing anterior teeth, the buccal surfaces of upper and lower premolars, or the cervical area on the lingual surface. Use ½ to ⅔ of the diameter; head length 9 mm, diameter 1.3 mm, tapered at 4°.
Burs 0839 and 839V are designed for the buccal and lingual surfaces of upper and lower molars. For the cervical area, use ⅔ of the diameter; head length 9 mm, diameter 1.5 mm, with a 20° tapered angle.
Burs 0893 and 893V are used for cutting the lingual surface of upper and lower anterior teeth (to maintain occlusal space) and the occlusal surface of lower premolars. Head length: 4.9 mm.
Burs 0899 and 899V are designed to reduce upper premolars and the occlusal surfaces of upper and lower molars while maintaining occlusal space, with a 20° tapered angle.
808V is used after preparation to eliminate free enamel in the cervical area. A lower speed is recommended to avoid chipping the enamel. Head length: 8 mm.
Burs 0833 and 833V are designed for interproximal slicing or box preparation for Class II inlay restorations. Use ½ the diameter, except for the lingual cervical area of lower anterior teeth, where ⅔ of the diameter is recommended. Head length: 9 mm, diameter 1.1 mm, with a 4° taper.
Burs 0825, 825V, 0826, and 826V are designed for occlusal box-form preparations of upper and lower premolars and molars. Specifically, 0826 and 826V are used for upper and lower molars; head length 3.5 mm, diameter 1.5–2 mm, with a 20° taper.
