Septodont Biodentine is an innovative tricalcium silicate–based material that functions as a permanent dentin substitute, offering exceptional bioactivity and biocompatibility. Developed with Septodont’s Active Biosilicate Technology, it provides superior sealing properties and can fully replace damaged dentin in both crown and root areas. Biodentine stimulates the formation of reactionary dentin, helping to preserve pulp vitality even after deep cavity preparations and restorations.

Its versatility allows use in a wide range of procedures, including restorative treatments and endodontic repairs. With a shorter setting time, high pH for antibacterial action, and resistance to microleakage, Biodentine ensures reliable, long-lasting results. Biodentine Capsule Handling and Mixing Instructions:

• Gently tap a capsule on a hard surface to loosen the powder.
• Open the capsule and place it on the white capsule holder.
• Take a single-dose liquid container, gently tap the sealed cap to move all liquid down, then twist to open carefully, ensuring no drops spill.
• Pour 5 drops of liquid from the single-dose container into the capsule.
• Close the capsule and place it on a mixing device (e.g., Technomix, Tac 400, Silamat, Cap-Mix, Rotomix, Ultramat) at 4000–4200 rpm.
• Mix for 30 seconds.
• Open the capsule and check the material consistency. If a thicker consistency is desired, wait 30 seconds to 1 minute before rechecking. Do not exceed working time.
• Collect Biodentine using the supplied instrument. Depending on the application, use an amalgam carrier, spatula, or Root Canal Messing Gun.
• Rinse and clean instruments promptly to remove any residual material.
