Socket Cure is a fiber-based, non-resorbable paste with a characteristic odor, formulated for the antiseptic treatment of tooth extraction sockets. While not resorbed by the tissue, the paste is gradually washed out over time, supporting the natural healing process. Importantly, no mechanical removal is required, minimizing trauma to the surrounding soft tissues during follow-up visits.Key Components & Their Actions:• Butamben – A local anesthetic that works by inhibiting voltage-gated calcium channels in dorsal root ganglion neurons, effectively reducing pain.

• Apply a small amount of paste onto a bandage roll and place it in the socket for 2 to 6 days, or form a small pellet of paste and insert it directly into the socket.
