Hemostatic Retraction Gel

Product Description:

• Contains 25% aluminum chloride for rapid and effective hemostasis
• Does not cause discoloration of hard or soft dental tissues
• Water-based gel formulation for easy rinsing with water
• Provides immediate gingival retraction lasting 20–30 minutes
• Designed for use in the oral cavity, stable in biological environments with temperatures between 32°C and 42°C (optimal at 37 ± 1°C) and humidity levels of 60–90%

Indications:

• Gingival retraction following crown, bridge, veneer, or Class II cavity preparation
• Management of capillary gingival bleeding during restorative procedures
• Prevention of gingival capillary bleeding
• Control of gingival fluid leakage
• Retraction during impression taking and cervical caries treatment

Contraindications:

• Known hypersensitivity or idiosyncratic reaction to the active ingredients
• Use with caution in patients with a history of allergies

Instructions for Use – Smart Retract Gel

For Root Canal Treatment:

• Apply Smart Retract gel onto a paper point or use a root canal needle to insert the gel into the canal.
• Leave the gel in the canal for 1 minute.
• Remove the gel, clean the canal thoroughly, and dry it.
• Proceed with the next steps of the root canal treatment.

For Gingival Retraction:

• Apply Smart Retract gel directly into the subgingival space.
• Wait for 15–20 seconds, then insert a retraction cord.
• Rinse the gel off thoroughly.
• Dry the gum area and continue with the dental procedure.

For Gingival Bleeding Control:

• Saturate a cotton pellet with Smart Retract gel.
• Place it on the bleeding area and apply gentle pressure.
• Keep it in place for 1 minute.

Rinse off the gel completely and dry the gum with air before proceeding.
