SafeEndo Smart Prep Paste

Product Description:

• Contains EDTA salts as the main active component
• Forms a calcium-EDTA complex upon contact with dentin, softening hard tissues
• Facilitates enlargement of calcified or sclerotic canal orifices
• Aids in the cleaning and shaping of hard-to-access root canals
• Acts as an effective lubricant for endodontic instruments
• Water-soluble paste base allows for easy and thorough rinsing
• When used with carbamide peroxide and sodium hypochlorite, it produces a foaming effect, enhancing cleanliness through active release of chlorine and oxygen

Step 1:

• Isolate the tooth using your preferred separation method.
• Perform an access opening and locate the root canals.

Step 2:

• Attach the unit-dose dispenser to the Smart Prep Paste syringe.
• Always ensure a snug fit to prevent leakage before use.

Step 3:

• Hold the syringe firmly in your palm.
• Use palm pressure for controlled and smooth dispensing of the paste.

Step 4:

• After identifying the canal orifice, apply Smart Prep Paste directly into the canal using the unit-dose dispenser.

Step 5:

• Gently negotiate the canal with appropriate endodontic files.

Step 6:

• Replenish the Smart Prep Paste inside the canal as needed between file changes.

Step 7:

• Once shaping is complete, flush the canal thoroughly with sodium hypochlorite followed by distilled water to remove the paste.

Step 8:

• Complete the biomechanical preparation by disinfecting the canals using your choice of disinfectant.

Step 9:

• Dry the canal carefully and proceed with your preferred obturation technique.
