SafeEndo EpoxySeal is a resin-based, two-component root canal sealer presented in a dual-syringe, paste-to-paste format. It offers excellent chemical and physical properties, including superior sealing ability and biocompatibility.

Upon mixing equal parts of the white and gray pastes, a homogenous, plastic material is formed with a film thickness of 5–10 µm. This results in a root canal filling with exceptional sealing performance. Thanks to its close adaptation to canal walls and minimal setting shrinkage, it ensures a tight, long-lasting seal with excellent tissue compatibility.

At room temperature (20–23°C), the mixed paste retains its plasticity for up to 4 hours. It sets within the root canal in approximately 24 hours, forming a bioinert amino resin with strong adhesion and low solubility. Any material extruded beyond the apex does not cause adverse reactions.

Important Instructions:

• Storing the material below 20°C may cause the white paste to thicken due to increased viscosity of the epoxy resin.
• Mix the white and gray pastes on a glass plate or mixing pad using a clean, dry spatula at a 1:1 weight ratio until a uniform consistency and color are achieved.
• When closing the tubes:
• Do not press too hard.
• Clean the tube nozzle before sealing.
• Close the tubes tightly using their original caps (gray tube with orange cap, white tube with white cap).
• Failure to follow these guidelines may result in hardening of the pastes inside the tubes, causing difficulties during application.
• Apply the paste in small portions into a sterile, dry canal using a root needle or root canal filling instrument.
• Insert and remove the paste with the root canal filling instrument at a low rotation speed to prevent air bubbles from forming in the material.
• When filling with gutta-percha points:
• Insert a small amount of paste into the canal.
• Seal with gutta-percha points coated with the paste.
• For condensation and obturation using hot gutta-percha, apply only a small amount of sealer to cover the canal walls.
• After filling the canal, proceed with isolation and restoration of the tooth crown.
• Clean all instruments and the mixing pad after use with suitable solvents such as alcohol, acetate, or chloroform.
