Prevest Oratemp Ne Manual-Mix is an advanced, non-eugenol zinc oxide paste-paste system formulated for the temporary cementation of provisional crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and splints. Because it is completely eugenol-free, it prevents soft tissue irritation and eliminates the risk of inhibiting the curing process of resin-based permanent cements or bonding agents used during final restoration placement.
The hand-mix formulation provides optimal physical stability and ideal mechanical retention, ensuring provisional restorations remain firmly attached throughout the trial period. 1. Clean and thoroughly dry the prepared tooth structure and interior of the provisional restoration.
2. Dispense equal lengths of Base and Catalyst pastes onto a mixing pad.
3. Mix the pastes thoroughly using a spatula for 30 to 45 seconds until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
4. Apply a thin, uniform layer of the mixed cement into the dry provisional crown or bridge.
5. Seat the provisional restoration firmly onto the prepared tooth within the working time frame.
6. Maintain firm pressure until the cement sets completely, approximately 3 to 4 minutes from the start of mixing.
7. Gently peel away excess set cement from the cervical margins using an scaler or explorer.
