* Forms a chemical bond to enamel and dentin without requiring separate etching or bonding agents.
* Delivers sustained fluoride ion release to assist in reducing marginal secondary caries formation.
* Ultra-low film thickness allows accurate passive seating of crowns, bridges, and inlays without occlusal elevation.
* Designed with minimal oral fluid solubility to preserve cement line integrity over long clinical periods.
* Natural translucent shade integrates visually under ceramic, metal-ceramic, and metallic restorations.
* Radiopaque property enables straightforward post-operative examination of subgingival margins on radiographs.
* Smooth mixing viscosity facilitates efficient manual hand-dispensing and effortless seating procedures.
Prevest Crysta GIC Luting I is a specialized Type I self-curing glass ionomer cement engineered for permanent prosthodontic and orthodontic luting applications. Its refined fluoroaluminosilicate particle matrix enables an exceptionally low film thickness, ensuring indirect prostheses seat flush against margin preparations without interfering with occlusal harmony. The chemical self-adhesive nature establishes a reliable bond to dental hard tissues and metal or ceramic substructures without requiring prior acid conditioning or primer application.
Formulated to maintain marginal stability in humid oral conditions, Crysta GIC Luting I demonstrates minimal solubility in micro-gap boundaries while continually releasing fluoride ions into adjacent tooth structures. The universal translucent light yellow shade blends beneath restorative margins, avoiding unwanted dark lines at the gingival border. Conveniently packaged as a powder-liquid system with dedicated mixing accessories, this cement provides adequate working time for smooth insertion and effortless excess removal during the rubbery phase.

1. Clean the prepared tooth surface using a slurry of pumice and water, rinse completely, and gently dry leaving a moist, glistening surface without desiccating the dentin.
2. Protect deep pulpal areas with a calcium hydroxide liner prior to cement application.
3. Lightly tap the powder jar, dispense 1 level scoop of powder onto the paper pad, and add 2 vertical, unpressurized drops of polyacrylic acid liquid.
4. Add the total powder portion into the liquid at once and rapidly mix using a plastic spatula for 45 to 60 seconds until a smooth, fluid consistency is obtained.
5. Coat the internal walls of the restoration within 1 minute of mixing and immediately seat the indirect unit onto the prepared tooth under steady, moderate pressure.
6. Maintain seating pressure throughout the 2-minute working phase until initial rubbery transformation begins.
7. Peel away excess marginal cement once it transitions into a rubbery stage, and allow the luting layer to cure completely before final finishing.
