* Forms strong direct chemical bonds to both enamel and dentin without requiring separate etching agents.
* Continuous fluoride ion release helps inhibit secondary caries development around restoration margins.
* Smooth liquid formulation facilitates effortless hand-mixing to achieve an ideal homogenous consistency.
* Low oral fluid solubility ensures long-term marginal integrity and minimal microleakage.
* Enhanced flexural and compressive strength minimizes fracture risk under occlusal stresses.
* High radiopacity allows clear radiographic differentiation from surrounding tooth structures.
* Biocompatible, low-odor composition reduces post-operative pulpal sensitivity.
Neoendo Neocem Restorative GIC - Type 2 is a chemically cured glass ionomer cement specifically formulated for direct dental restorations. Combining high mechanical strength with outstanding tissue compatibility, this material offers reliable marginal seals and long-term durability in primary and permanent dentition.
The self-adhesive chemistry forms a direct ionic bond with natural tooth structure, eliminating the need for complex bonding protocols. Its continuous fluoride release provides ongoing anticariogenic protection around cavity margins. Neoendo Neocem Type 2 is ideal for Class III and Class V cavities, limited non-stress-bearing Class I restorations, core build-ups, pediatric fillings, and base/liner applications under composite restorations.
