Selecting Mani Gates Drill Size:

• Choose the appropriate drill size based on the treatment plan, desired taper, and specific tooth anatomy.

Sequential Use of Mani Gates Drills:

• Begin with the smallest drill (e.g., #1) for minimal taper or the size suitable for your procedure.
• Attach the drill to the handpiece or contra-angle.
• Carefully insert the drill into the canal without excessive force.
• Activate the handpiece at low speed, advancing the drill with gentle apical pressure.
• Periodically remove the drill to clean it and clear debris.

Progression to Larger Drills:

• Move sequentially to larger drills (e.g., #2, #3) if a greater taper is needed.
• Clean and irrigate the canal between drills to remove debris.

Monitoring Depth:

• Observe the depth of each drill insertion; depth may vary by tooth and clinical situation.
• For minimal taper, #1 drill is inserted furthest apically, with subsequent drills slightly more coronal.

Final Cleaning and Shaping:

• Complete final canal preparation using additional endodontic files and reamers.

Irrigation and Sterilization:

• Continuously irrigate the canal with disinfecting solutions to remove debris and maintain sterility.

Obturation and Sealing:
