MAARC Wire Wax is specially formulated for creating sprues used in the casting of dental prostheses. It is suitable for spruing and mounting wax patterns, helping dental technicians achieve a controlled and efficient workflow during prosthodontic and laboratory casting procedures.

The wax provides suitable stiffness to support wax patterns while helping minimize unwanted deformation during sprue preparation. Its uniform wire form allows convenient adaptation and positioning according to the requirements of the casting procedure.

Preparation:

Application – Creating Sprues:

• Cut the required length of wire wax
• Attach the wax sprue securely to the pattern
• Position the sprue and pattern correctly in the mounting base

Application – Mounting Process:

• Fix the sprue firmly to maintain shape and stability
• Verify proper alignment of the wax pattern and sprue

Burnout:

• Place the mounted pattern in a burnout oven
• Follow standard burnout procedures to ensure the wax melts cleanly without residue

Casting:

• Proceed with casting once burnout is complete
• Ensure all wax residues are removed before casting the dental prosthesis

Storage:

• Store unused wire wax at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C
