Maarc Sealmax+ is an MTA-based bioceramic root canal sealer developed for permanent sealing during endodontic obturation. It is supplied as a powder and resin system that is mixed before application.

The formulation contains more than 20% bioceramic material and provides close adaptation to root canal walls. Its hydrophobic nature helps establish a dependable seal between the canal surface and the selected obturation material.

When exposed to moisture, the bioceramic components release ions that increase the surface pH and contribute to the material's bioactive characteristics. Sealmax+ is also eugenol-free, grain-free and radiopaque, providing convenient handling and clear postoperative radiographic visibility.

1. Complete cleaning and shaping of the root canal.
2. Irrigate thoroughly and dry the prepared canal according to the selected endodontic protocol.
3. Dispense the required quantity of Sealmax+ powder and resin.
4. Mix thoroughly until a smooth and uniform sealer consistency is achieved.
5. Apply a thin layer of the mixed sealer to the prepared canal walls or obturation point.
6. Insert the selected gutta-percha point into the canal.
7. Complete obturation using the preferred clinical technique.
8. Remove excess sealer from the access cavity.
9. Allow the material to set according to the manufacturer's instructions.
