1. Select the required pumice grade for the procedure.
2. Dispense a small amount into a clean mixing cup.
3. Add water gradually to prepare a workable slurry or paste.
4. Apply using a suitable prophylaxis cup, brush or laboratory polishing tool.
5. Use controlled pressure and avoid excessive abrasion.
6. Rinse the treated surface thoroughly after polishing.
7. Clean the instruments and discard contaminated material after use.
