Maarc Gingival Barrier is a light-cured, methacrylate-based liquid dam designed to protect gingival and other soft tissues during professional teeth whitening procedures.

Its flowable yet non-dripping consistency allows controlled application along the gingival margin and into interdental embrasures. The contrasting green colour makes the applied material easy to identify, helping clinicians check that the required areas are adequately covered.

After light curing, the material forms a protective barrier with sufficient strength to remain stable throughout the procedure while retaining enough flexibility for convenient removal afterwards.

1. Clean and dry the teeth and surrounding gingival tissues.
2. Attach an applicator tip securely to the syringe.
3. Apply a continuous layer of Gingival Barrier along the gingival margin.
4. Extend the material into interdental embrasures to achieve complete soft-tissue coverage.
5. Ensure all gingival areas that may contact the bleaching material are adequately protected.
6. Light cure the applied barrier until completely set.
7. Proceed with the planned teeth whitening or bleaching procedure.
8. After treatment, gently lift an edge of the cured barrier.
9. Carefully peel away the material and check that it has been completely removed.
