Maarc D-Sens G+ is a professional dental desensitizing agent formulated with glutaraldehyde and HEMA for the management of dentin hypersensitivity. It works by reducing dentinal permeability and sealing exposed dentinal tubules, helping limit the movement of fluid responsible for sensitivity.

The one-step formulation requires no agitation or light curing, making it convenient for chairside application. It can be used on sensitive cervical dentin and following tooth preparation to help minimise postoperative sensitivity before restorative or prosthetic procedures.

D-Sens G+ is supplied in a 2 g syringe for controlled placement and is compatible with commonly used bonding and restorative materials.

1 × Maarc D-Sens G+ Syringe – 2 g

1. Clean the sensitive dentin surface and rinse thoroughly with water.
2. Isolate surrounding soft tissues appropriately.
3. Apply a small quantity of D-Sens G+ to the affected dentin using a suitable brush or applicator.
4. Allow the material to remain on the surface for approximately 30–60 seconds.
5. Rinse thoroughly with water and use suction.
6. Evaluate the reduction in sensitivity.
7. If required, treatment may be repeated according to the clinical situation.
8. For very deep cavities close to the pulp, provide appropriate pulp protection before applying the desensitizer.
