Maarc Calx is a premixed, water-based calcium hydroxide paste developed for use during endodontic procedures. Its ready-to-use syringe formulation allows convenient and controlled placement directly into the root canal.

The non-setting paste is suitable for temporary root canal dressing and filling during endodontic treatment. Its high-pH calcium hydroxide formulation makes it useful as an intracanal medicament, while barium sulphate provides radiopacity for easier identification on dental radiographs.

Maarc Calx can also be used as a temporary material during pulp capping and pulpotomy procedures. The 3 g syringe is supplied with applicator tips for precise chairside placement.

1. Complete access preparation and clean the root canal according to the required endodontic protocol.
2. Attach an applicator tip securely to the Calx syringe.
3. Dispense the required quantity of paste directly into the prepared root canal.
4. Position the material evenly within the required area without excessive extrusion.
5. Use as a temporary intracanal dressing or filling material according to the treatment requirement.
6. Remove the material appropriately before final obturation when used as an interim dressing.
7. Close the syringe immediately after use.
8. Dispose of the used applicator tip according to standard infection-control procedures.
