1. Secure the bite rim on a stable record base.
2. Warm and contour the wax as required without overheating.
3. Adjust the rim height and thickness intraorally.

6. Mark reference lines and verify the vertical dimension.
7. Cool the rim, remove it carefully and transfer the record for denture setup.
