• Cutting the Wax: Trim the wax to a suitable size based on the patient’s arch and clinical requirements.
• Softening: Gently warm the wax by hand or with a warm instrument to make it pliable, if needed.
• Placement: Position the softened wax between the upper and lower dental arches at the area requiring bite registration.
• Bite Registration: Instruct the patient to close their mouth gently into a natural bite, ensuring accurate occlusion capture.
• Setting Time: Allow the wax to cool and harden in place for a few moments.
• Removal: Carefully remove the wax from the patient’s mouth, avoiding distortion of the recorded bite.
