Maarc Articulating Paper Straight is a dual-colour dental marking paper designed to help clinicians identify and evaluate occlusal contact points. The blue and red coating produces visible markings when the patient bites or performs mandibular movements.

The straight-strip format allows convenient placement in specific areas of the mouth and adapts effectively to occlusal surfaces. It can be used when checking restorations, crowns, bridges, dentures and other prosthetic work.

Available in 40, 70 and 100 micron variants. 

1. Dry the tooth or restoration surfaces before checking the occlusion.
2. Hold one articulating paper strip using suitable articulating paper forceps.
3. Position the strip between the opposing teeth.
4. Ask the patient to bite gently to record static occlusal contacts.
5. For dynamic assessment, ask the patient to perform the required lateral or protrusive movements.
6. Remove the paper and inspect the transferred blue and red markings.
7. Identify high spots or premature contacts and make the necessary adjustments.
8. Repeat the procedure until the desired occlusal relationship is achieved.
