Kalabhai Ultrabase 3kg is an extra-hard Type IV natural die stone developed for pouring bases during preparation of die-cut dental models. It combines excellent flow with very low setting expansion, helping produce stable and dimensionally controlled model bases. The material can be poured in a fluid consistency when the recommended water-to-powder ratio is followed. Its orange colour provides useful visual contrast, and the hardened stone offers the strength required for routine precision model and die-base procedures in the dental laboratory.

Measure 23 ml of clean water for every 100 g of Ultrabase powder. Add the powder gradually and allow it to soak for about 30 seconds. Mix for approximately 30 seconds until smooth and homogeneous. Pour the material in a fluid condition into the prepared model base area, using gentle vibration if required. Allow approximately 8–10 minutes for setting and adequate hardening before trimming or sectioning.
