Use clean, dry mixing equipment and follow the water-to-powder ratio printed on the manufacturer pack. Add the powder gradually to measured water and mix until a smooth, homogeneous consistency is obtained. Pour or stack the material as required for the model or articulator-mounting procedure, minimizing air entrapment. Allow the stone to set fully before trimming, separating or placing the model under load.
