Kalabhai Kaldent 3kg is a Type II white alabaster dental plaster intended for general laboratory applications. It is commonly used for preliminary casts, securing casts to articulators and flasking procedures during denture fabrication. The plaster develops a creamy mix that is easy to handle and can reproduce useful surface detail from impressions. Its controlled working and setting characteristics make it a practical choice for routine dental laboratory procedures where a Type II gypsum plaster is appropriate.

1 × 3 kg pack of Kalabhai Kaldent

Measure 58 ml of clean water for every 100 g of Kaldent powder. Add the plaster gradually to the water and mix for about 15 seconds until a smooth, creamy consistency is obtained. Pour into the required impression, flask or mounting area without excessive vibration. The working time is approximately 3 minutes and the setting time is about 5 minutes under normal conditions.
