The Julldent Rigid Periotome (JULL-DENT 066) is a specialized dental extraction instrument designed for cutting and severing periodontal ligament fibres during atraumatic tooth extraction. Model JULL-DENT 066 is a rigid periotome.
The instrument features thin, sharp and durable cutting blades designed to access the periodontal ligament space around the tooth. By progressively severing periodontal ligament fibres, the periotome helps loosen the tooth while supporting controlled extraction techniques.
The Julldent Rigid Periotome features a double-sided design and is available in different working-end configurations, including 2.5 mm Inverted with 3 mm Straight Pointed and 2.5 mm Contra Angle with 2.5 mm Straight variants.

1. Select the appropriate Julldent Rigid Periotome variant according to the tooth position and clinical access.
2. Inspect the instrument before use and ensure it has been properly cleaned and sterilized.
3. Carefully introduce the thin working blade into the periodontal ligament space.
4. Advance the blade gradually and carefully along the root surface.
5. Use controlled movements to sever the periodontal ligament fibres.
6. Reposition the instrument around the tooth as required to progressively release the periodontal attachment.
7. Avoid excessive force that may damage surrounding bone or soft tissues.
8. Complete the tooth extraction using the appropriate clinical technique once sufficient periodontal ligament release and tooth mobility have been achieved.
9. Clean and inspect the instrument after use.
10. Sterilize the instrument according to the applicable validated dental instrument-reprocessing protocol before subsequent use.
