The Julldent Contrastor for Dental Photography (Julldent 135) is a specialized photographic accessory designed to improve intraoral dental photography by providing a black background behind the teeth. The black background helps isolate the teeth and reduce visual distractions, making details such as tooth shade, enamel staining, characterization and incisal edge translucency easier to document.

1. Select the appropriate contrastor according to the required photographic view.
2. Clean and sterilize the contrastor according to the applicable validated reprocessing protocol before use.
3. Position the patient and prepare the area to be photographed.
4. Place the black contrastor behind or around the teeth being photographed.
5. Hold the contrastor using the non-photographic side as a handle.
6. Position it so that surrounding teeth, tongue and other distracting structures are minimized in the camera frame.
7. Capture the required intraoral photographs using the appropriate dental photography technique.
8. Remove the contrastor carefully after photography.
9. Clean, inspect and sterilize the contrastor before subsequent use.
