Select the L2 lower tray size and check the patient's mandibular arch for proper fit and clearance.

Mix the chosen impression material according to the manufacturer's specified powder-to-water or base-to-catalyst ratio.

Load the mixed material evenly into the tray, ensuring complete coverage over the perforated base and rim lock edges.

Position the loaded tray inside the patient's mouth and seat it evenly over the lower dental arch.

Support the tray in place without movement until the impression material achieves a complete set.

Gently break the air seal and remove the tray vertically from the lower arch.

Disinfect the impression, then clean and sterilize the tray via autoclave prior to subsequent clinical use.
