Clean and autoclave the retractor thoroughly prior to the clinical procedure.

Attach the suction nozzle tube of the retractor to the high-volume or low-volume evacuation hose.

Gently place the fork blade against the lateral border or dorsal surface of the tongue to retract tissue away from the working site.

Activate the suction system to continuously evacuate saliva, blood, and cooling spray throughout the procedure.

After completing treatment, disconnect from suction line, scrub off organic debris, and process through standard sterilization protocols.
