Clean and autoclave the instrument prior to performing clinical procedures.

Position the patient and maintain appropriate isolation around the restoration site.

Select the appropriate angled blade end for either cervical anterior or interproximal posterior access.

Inspect the restoration margins visually and with an explorer to ensure complete elimination of overhangs.
