1. Prepare the patient and ensure complete local anesthesia at the target tooth site.
2. Carefully place the thin Bernard Left tip into the gingival sulcus along the periodontal ligament space.
3. Advance the instrument apically with gentle axial pressure and slight twisting movements to sever ligament fibers.
4. Expand the alveolar socket carefully without exerting lateral pressure against the fragile labial or buccal bone plate.
5. Once sufficient tooth mobility is achieved, complete the extraction using designated surgical forceps.
6. Clean, decontaminate, and autoclave the instrument at 134°C prior to subsequent clinical use.
