The GDC Osteotomes Concave - Angulated (Ostmsh42a) is a specialized surgical instrument developed for condensing maxillary bone and carrying out crestal sinus lift procedures. Featuring an angled shaft, this instrument gives implant surgeons enhanced reach and control in posterior segments where straight access is hindered by adjacent teeth or soft tissues.
The 4.2 mm working tip is formed with a concave cavity that engages bone tissue and graft materials cleanly. During impaction, the design condenses loose bone against the osteotomy walls rather than cutting it away, improving initial stability for dental implants in low-density bone.
Made of high-grade surgical stainless steel, the instrument withstands repetitive mallet impacts while resisting corrosion and wear. It features an ergonomic handle to minimize hand fatigue during intricate bone-shaping tasks and is completely reusable through routine autoclave sterilization.

1 Pack Contains:
* 1 × GDC Osteotome Concave - Angulated (Ostmsh42a)
1. Prepare the osteotomy site according to standard implant surgical protocols using the primary drill sequence.
2. Select the 4.2 mm angulated concave osteotome and position the tip accurately against the targeted bone bed.
3. Apply light to moderate tapping forces on the impaction cap using a dedicated surgical mallet.
4. Advance the instrument gradually to condense trabecular bone laterally or elevate the maxillary sinus floor.
5. Withdraw the instrument smoothly and inspect the osteotomy site prior to graft placement or implant insertion.
6. Clean off blood and surgical debris immediately after the procedure and follow standard autoclaving procedures.
