The GDC MTA Carrier - Curved (1.2mm) (MTA4866) is a specialized clinical instrument constructed for controlled transportation and placement of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) and similar bioceramic filling compounds. Endodontic procedures such as apexification, pulp capping, root perforation repair, and retrograde root-end sealing demand clean delivery without slumping or premature contamination. This carrier provides a dedicated, direct delivery vector into confined root canal architectures.

Prepare and mix the Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) or endodontic repair material according to manufacturer recommendations.

Load the mixed paste into the tip orifice by pressing the carrier barrel into the prepared material block.

Gently pull back or release the internal plunger to allow maximum material fill inside the 1.2mm internal tip lumen.

Positioning the curved working end precisely over the treatment site, slowly push the plunger button to extrude the material into the cavity or perforation.

Immediately clean and flush the internal lumen with distilled water or appropriate solvent before the material sets to avoid blockages.

Process the instrument through ultrasonic bath cleaning, dry completely, and sterilize via steam autoclave prior to the next procedure.
