Examine the patient's edentulous oral cavity to determine the suitable maxillary or mandibular arch size.

Select the corresponding non-perforated tray from the set.

Apply a compatible tray adhesive along the interior surfaces if required for non-retentive material.

Prepare and mix the impression compound, alginate, or silicone material as directed.

Uniformly load the mixed material into the non-perforated tray.

Seat the loaded tray firmly in the patient's mouth to record all anatomical landmarks.

Hold the tray steadily in place until the impression material fully sets.

Carefully remove the tray, inspect the recorded detail, and clean/sterilize the instrument after use.
