The GDC Extraction Forceps Upper Roots (51A Atraumatic) are expertly crafted surgical instruments designed to meet the precise demands of modern exodontia. Engineered to facilitate the safe and predictable removal of upper root fragments, these forceps feature specially contoured atraumatic beaks. This specialised tip design allows the clinician to establish a deep, secure grasp on compromised roots, significantly reducing the risk of crushing the tooth structure or fracturing the surrounding alveolar bone.
Manufactured from premium-grade stainless steel, the AFX51A forceps offer excellent durability and consistent clinical performance. The handles are ergonomically designed to give dental professionals an anti-slip grip and optimal leverage, ensuring that controlled force is efficiently transmitted during the luxation process. This attention to detail minimises operator hand fatigue while promoting a more comfortable experience for the patient.
Designed for repeated clinical use, these forceps are fully autoclavable and highly resistant to corrosion. Whether dealing with stubborn retained roots or performing routine upper root extractions, the GDC 51A atraumatic forceps provide the reliability, tactile sensitivity, and precise anatomical fit required for successful, minimally invasive surgical outcomes.
