Thoroughly sterilize the instrument using an autoclave before performing the clinical procedure. Evaluate the position and root structure of the impacted or erupted mandibular third molar using radiographs. Elevate the surrounding mucoperiosteal tissue and luxate the target tooth using an appropriate elevator. Seat the sharp atraumatic beaks parallel to the long axis of the tooth, driving them subgingivally onto the root trunk. Apply firm apical pressure and controlled rotational or lateral force to expand the alveolar socket. Deliver the tooth safely from the socket without causing excess trauma to adjacent cortical plates. Clean off debris, wash thoroughly, and process through standard sterilization protocols post-procedure.
