Clean and sterilize the impression tray thoroughly before clinical use.

Select the correct upper arch tray size (#1) corresponding to the patient's jaw dimensions.

Prepare and mix the desired dental impression material according to the manufacturer guidelines.

Load the mixed impression material uniformly across the interior surface of the tray.

Insert the loaded tray into the patient's upper oral cavity, centering it carefully over the dentition.

Press the tray gently into position to allow the material to flow accurately around all teeth and soft tissues.

Hold the tray completely stable without movement until the impression material fully sets.

Remove the set impression with a gentle, firm snap parallel to the long axis of the teeth.

Inspect the captured impression for fine detail, rinse thoroughly, and disinfect following proper infection control protocols.
