GC Pattern Resin is a self-curing acrylic modelling material used to fabricate accurate patterns for indirect dental restorations and prosthetic components. Its low-shrinkage formulation helps preserve dimensions during polymerisation, supporting precise adaptation and dependable casting results.

The resin is suitable for patterns involving crowns and bridges, inlays, onlays, custom attachments, implant components, post-and-core restorations, telescopic crowns and removable partial denture frameworks. Its thixotropic handling and powder wettability make it particularly convenient for controlled incremental application with the brush technique.

The 1-1 package contains 100 g powder, 105 mL liquid, two mixing cups, a No. 4 brush and a pipette. Available variants and refills include 100 g or 1 kg powder, 105 mL or 262 mL liquid, replacement brushes and mixing cups.

1. Prepare the die, model, metal surface or component according to the planned restoration.
2. Apply a suitable separating medium when working on stone or resin surfaces. A wetting agent is generally unnecessary on metal.
3. Dispense a small quantity of powder and liquid into separate mixing cups.
4. Moisten the supplied brush with liquid and remove excess against the side of the cup.
5. Touch the moistened brush to the powder to collect a small resin bead.
6. Transfer the resin to the prepared surface and spread it evenly in controlled increments.
7. Continue building the pattern in small portions until the required contour and thickness are obtained.
8. Allow the material to self-cure for approximately 4 minutes at 23°C.
9. Carefully remove the pattern and inspect its fit, margins and surface integrity.
10. Make additions where necessary, then trim, shape or mill the completed pattern before investing and casting.
