GC Impreceed is a dust-free, non-chromatic alginate impression material intended for routine diagnostic, orthodontic and prosthodontic procedures. Its enhanced powder-to-water affinity enables rapid incorporation and helps clinicians obtain a creamy, homogeneous mixture with minimal bubbles.

The material combines controlled flow with resistance to dripping, allowing it to spread around teeth and oral tissues while remaining manageable inside the tray. After setting, its elasticity supports removal from undercut areas while preserving the recorded anatomical detail.

GC Impreceed is supplied as an individual 454 g powder pack. Bulk box configurations containing multiple 454 g packs may also be available for high-volume clinical requirements. The material is suitable for study models, orthodontic casts, opposing-arch impressions and preliminary impressions used in removable or fixed prosthodontic workflows.

1 Pack Contains:

• 1 × GC Impreceed Alginate Powder – 454 g

1. Select a rigid impression tray of appropriate size and apply an alginate tray adhesive or use a suitable retentive tray.
2. Shake or agitate the closed pack gently before opening to distribute the powder uniformly.
3. Measure the required quantities of distilled or deionised water and powder using the manufacturer-provided measures.
4. Place the measured water into a clean rubber bowl, followed by the alginate powder.
5. Mix vigorously against the sides of the bowl for 20–30 seconds until a smooth, homogeneous consistency is obtained.
6. Load the impression tray evenly, avoiding air entrapment, and smooth the surface with a moistened finger.
7. Seat the tray within the available working time and hold it steadily without movement.
8. Allow the material to remain intraorally for at least 120 seconds or until completely set.
9. Break the peripheral seal and remove the impression with a quick, controlled movement.
10. Rinse, disinfect according to an approved alginate protocol and pour the gypsum model promptly to minimise dimensional change.
