GC Gold Label Hybrid is a self-adhesive, hand-mixed posterior restorative cement based on advanced glass hybrid technology. Its formulation combines two types of fluoro-alumino-silicate glass with two polyacrylic acid components to produce a reinforced restorative matrix with fluoride release and improved acid resistance.

The material is intended for bulk-fill restoration of indicated posterior cavities, deciduous teeth, Class V lesions, root surfaces and core build-ups. It may also be used as an intermediate restorative or as a base beneath another restorative material through the sandwich laminate technique.

GC Gold Label Hybrid is available in A2, A3 and A3.5 shades. Each 1-1 package contains 15 g powder, 8 g or 6.4 mL liquid, a powder scoop and a No. 22 mixing pad.

1. Prepare the cavity using standard restorative techniques. Extensive mechanical retention is generally unnecessary.
2. If pulpal protection is required, place a suitable calcium hydroxide liner over the affected area.
3. Optionally condition the bonding surfaces with GC Cavity Conditioner or GC Dentin Conditioner according to its instructions.
4. Rinse thoroughly and remove excess water with a cotton pellet or gentle air. Do not desiccate; the surface should remain visibly moist.
5. Lightly tap the powder bottle against the hand, then dispense one level scoop of powder and one drop of liquid onto the mixing pad.
6. Divide the powder into two equal portions using a plastic spatula.
7. Mix the first portion with all the liquid for 10 seconds, then incorporate the remaining powder and mix for another 15–20 seconds.
8. Transfer the cement into the prepared cavity within the 1-minute 45-second working time, avoiding air entrapment.
9. Establish the preliminary contour and apply a matrix when required. After setting, protect the surface with GC Fuji Varnish or light-cured G-Coat Plus.
10. Begin final finishing under water spray 6 minutes after starting the mix, apply another protective coat and advise the patient to avoid pressure on the restoration for one hour.
