GC G-Aenial Universal Injectable is a radiopaque, light-cured restorative composite combining injectable handling with the strength required for definitive restorations. Its ultra-fine barium filler system and Full-Coverage Silane Coating technology provide wear resistance, polishability and reliable filler integration within the resin matrix.

The material’s thixotropic consistency enables it to flow during injection and adaptation while remaining stable after placement. It can be used for Class I–V restorations, fissure sealing, liners, bases, core build-ups, undercut blocking and selected restorative repairs.

The manufacturer offers 16 shades: XBW, BW, A1, A2, A3, A3.5, A4, B1, B2, CV, CVD, AO1, AO2, AO3, JE and AE. Each refill contains one 1.7 g syringe, five standard tips, five long dispensing tips and a light-protective cap.

1. Select the appropriate shade before isolating or dehydrating the tooth.
2. Prepare the cavity using standard techniques and isolate the operative field, preferably with a rubber dam.
3. Dry gently with clean, oil-free air. If pulpal protection is required, place an appropriate calcium hydroxide liner.
4. Apply a compatible light-cured enamel and dentine bonding system according to its instructions.
5. Hold the syringe upright, remove the wing cap and securely attach a new dispensing tip.
6. With the tip directed upward, gently advance the plunger until composite reaches the opening and trapped air is removed.
7. Position the tip close to the cavity floor and inject the material slowly, using surface tension to achieve controlled adaptation and contouring.
8. Place and cure the composite in increments appropriate to the selected shade. Cure each layer for 10 seconds with a high-power LED above 1200 mW/cm² or 20 seconds with a curing light above 700 mW/cm².
9. After placing the final increment, release pressure and withdraw the syringe perpendicular to the restoration to separate the material cleanly from the tip.
10. Complete contouring, finishing and polishing using standard composite-restoration techniques.
