GC Fuji Plus is a resin-modified glass ionomer luting cement designed for the definitive cementation of indirect restorations. It combines the chemical adhesion and fluoride release of glass ionomer technology with resin reinforcement for improved cohesive strength and low solubility.

The cement adheres to enamel, dentine and cementum and is compatible with metal, resin, porcelain-fused-to-metal and appropriately treated ceramic restorations. Its creamy consistency and approximately 10 μm film thickness facilitate complete seating of crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays.

Fuji Plus is moisture tolerant during placement and develops a reliable marginal seal. Excess cement can be removed during its rubber-like stage, while the radiopaque formulation supports postoperative examination.

This Powder/Liquid pack contains 15 g of powder and 8 g of liquid. GC Fuji Plus is also available as a kit with Conditioner, separate powder and liquid refills, capsules, Conditioner Refill and Extended Working Time Powder.

1. Clean and prepare the tooth and internal restoration surface according to the restoration manufacturer’s instructions.
2. When using GC Fuji Plus Conditioner, apply it to the prepared tooth surface for 20 seconds.
3. Rinse thoroughly and gently remove excess water without desiccating the tooth; the surface should remain slightly moist.
4. Tap the powder bottle gently to loosen the powder. Hold the liquid bottle vertically while dispensing.
5. Dispense one level large scoop of powder with three drops of liquid, or one level small scoop with one drop, onto a mixing pad.
6. Incorporate all the powder into the liquid and mix rapidly with a plastic spatula for 20 seconds.
7. Apply a thin, uniform layer of cement to the internal surface of the restoration and seat it immediately.
8. Maintain steady pressure during seating. The available working time is approximately 2 minutes 30 seconds from the start of mixing at 23°C.
9. Remove excess cement when it reaches a rubber-like consistency, generally around 60 seconds after seating.
10. Complete final finishing approximately 4 minutes 30 seconds after seating the restoration.
