GC everX Flow is a light-cured, short-fibre reinforced flowable composite intended for use as a dentine-replacement material. Its glass-fibre network reinforces the restorative substructure and helps redirect cracks within structurally compromised posterior teeth.

The material is suitable for extensive posterior cavities, deep preparations, missing-cusp restorations, endodontically treated teeth, core build-ups and cavities following amalgam removal. Its thixotropic consistency supports close adaptation while limiting uncontrolled slumping during placement.

GC everX Flow is available in two variants. The translucent Bulk shade provides a curing depth of 5.5 mm, while the more opaque Dentin shade is placed in 2 mm increments for aesthetic dentine replacement and core build-ups. The selected pack contains one 3.7 g syringe, 20 plastic dispensing tips and a light-protective cap. The material must be completely covered with a wear-resistant universal composite.

1. Clean the tooth and select the Bulk or Dentin shade before isolation.
2. Prepare the cavity using standard restorative techniques and isolate the operative field, preferably with a rubber dam.
3. Dry gently with clean, oil-free air and place suitable pulpal protection where clinically required.
4. Apply a compatible light-cured enamel and dentine bonding system according to its instructions.
5. For Class II or extensive cavities, establish the proximal walls and contact area using a conventional composite before placing everX Flow.
6. Attach a new dispensing tip, point it upward and advance the plunger until material reaches the tip opening.
7. Inject the material close to the cavity floor while reserving adequate space for the final composite covering layer.
8. Place the Bulk shade in increments up to 5.5 mm or the Dentin shade in increments up to 2 mm.
9. Cure each increment for 10 seconds above 1200 mW/cm² or 20 seconds above 700 mW/cm².
10. Cover the material completely with a 1–2 mm layer of wear-resistant universal composite, cure, finish and polish.
