GC EQUIA Forte HT Capsule is a self-curing glass hybrid restorative supplied in pre-dosed capsules for consistent chairside mixing. It is designed for bulk placement and offers radiopacity, chemical adhesion to tooth structure and practical moisture-tolerant handling.

The material is indicated for Class I, selected Class II, Class V and root-surface restorations, intermediate restorations and core build-ups. After finishing, the restoration should be sealed with separately available EQUIA Forte Coat to strengthen and protect its surface.

Each refill pack contains 50 capsules in the selected shade. Indian pack options include A2, A3 and A3.5. EQUIA Forte Coat, the capsule applier and the capsule mixer are not included with this refill pack.

1. Prepare the cavity using standard minimally invasive restorative principles; extensive mechanical retention is generally unnecessary.
2. Protect areas close to the pulp with an appropriate calcium hydroxide liner when clinically indicated.
3. Apply a compatible cavity conditioner if required, rinse thoroughly and gently remove excess moisture without desiccating the dentine.
4. Tap or shake the capsule to loosen the powder, then fully depress the plunger and hold it for 2 seconds.
5. Immediately mix the activated capsule for 10 seconds in a compatible mixer operating at approximately 4,000 rpm.
6. Insert the capsule into a GC Capsule Applier and click twice to prime it. Begin extrusion within 10 seconds after mixing.
7. Dispense the material directly into the cavity and complete contouring within the 1-minute 30-second working time.
8. Protect the restoration from moisture contamination and dehydration during the initial setting period.
9. Begin finishing under water spray approximately 2 minutes 30 seconds from the start of mixing.
10. Apply a thin layer of EQUIA Forte Coat without air thinning, then light-cure each coated surface for 20 seconds using a curing light above 500 mW/cm².
